Vacation Rental Policies
Check in time is 3:00 pm and check out is at 10:00 am. We will make our best effort to get you in earlier.
Reservation may be made by phone or email and confirmed upon receipt of deposit. A deposit of one day rent is required at the time of booking reservation. The deposit may be made by credit card, personal check or cash. The deposit is not applied to the rental fee. If the reservation is cancelled in writing a minimum of 60 days prior to the arrival date, 75% of the deposit will be refunded. No refund of the deposit is made for cancellations less than 60 days prior to the departure date. In the event the deposit is not returned due to cancellation, you may use that deposit to secure another reservation in the same calendar year. The deposit will be returned after the unit is cleaned and inspected for damage or missing property. The renter is responsible in full for all damage and missing property, other than normal wear and tear
Upon or before checking in the unit you will be required to pay for the entire rental fee of your unit, including 9.25% sales tax and 5% Hotel Motel tax. No credit cards or personal checks are accepted for the rental fee – this must be in cash, certified check or a mailed personal check received 30 days prior to departure. We will be glad to set up a charge account for the length of your stay, so you don’t need to carry money for any marina purchase.
With your rental unit you will also receive a one covered slip at no charge (no slips are provided on for a floating house or if your rental has a private dock). Additional slips are available for rental at $15 per day for 30’ and $12 for 18’ slips, but must be booked in advance.
We rent a complete line of equipment and accessories including ski boats, pontoon boats, wave runners, and other miscellaneous toys. These rentals are best reserved before your arrival to insure availability.
Pets are allowed in most of our units, but there is a $50 charge per pet to cover extra cleaning. You are responsible for any damage by your pet. Pets must be pre-approved before your arrival. Failure to do so could cause you to forfeit your deposit.
We take pride in keeping our resort clean and request that you leave your unit on time and in a neat condition before you depart. Garbage bags, brooms, etc are provided for this purpose. The cleaner your unit is when you leave, saves us time and helps keep your cost down. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
You can obtain a fishing license before you arrive on TWRA’s toll free number. You will need a driver license and credit card. Everyone 13 or older needs a license. Ask for a “non resident Norris Lake – no trout” to save you some time and questions. The phone number is 888-814-8972.
All of our Cabins are no smoking inside for your comfort, but for those that do smoke, we ask that you smoke outside on the deck. Ashtrays are provided outside for your convenience. You may lose your deposit if you smoke inside.
Suggested items to bring:
Towels, wash cloths, trash bags, bar soap, dish detergent, dish towel, dish rag, toiletries, tape player & cassettes, CD’s video tapes & DVD’s, portable AM/FM radio, extra lounge chairs, lanterns, flashlight, fishing gear (don’t forget to get a Tennessee Fishing License!), extra boat fenders, blankets, sleeping bags, food and drinks, paper plates, cups, etc., first aid kit, suntan lotion, bug spray, etc., water toys, rafts, swimsuits, camera, film, binoculars, cards, games and books, swimming and ski jackets, children’s & infant life jackets.
