Rental Policies

Check in time is 3:00 pm and check out is at 10:00 am. We will make our best effort to get you in earlier when possible.  Upon arrival please, check-in at the marina store.  We will let you know the status of your rental and will obtain your contact information to be able to reach out when your unit it ready. Late departures may be subject to a late check out fee.

We take pride in keeping our resort clean and request that you leave your unit on time and in a neat condition before you depart. Trash bags, brooms, etc are provided for this purpose. Leaving your rental in great condition cuts down in turnaround times and costs, both of which we want to be able to pass along to you.  Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Reservation may be made on the Flat Hollow Marina website or by phone. A deposit of one day peak season rent is required at the time of booking reservation. The deposit may be made by credit card.  The deposit is held as a security deposit throughout your stay and is NOT applied to the rental fee. If the reservation is cancelled in writing a minimum of 60 days prior to the arrival date, 75% of the deposit will be refunded. No refund of the deposit is made for cancellations less than 60 days prior to the departure date. In the event the deposit is not returned due to cancellation, you may use that deposit to secure another reservation in the same calendar year. Deposits do NOT carry over from one year to the next. The deposit will be returned after the unit is cleaned and inspected for damage or missing property. The renter is responsible in full for all damage and missing property, other than normal wear and tear.  Flat Hollow Marina reserves the right to maintain any part of the deposit necessary to cover the cost of damages or missing property.

Upon or before checking in the unit you will be required to pay for the entire remaining balance for your rental, including 9.25% sales tax and 5% Hotel Motel tax. No credit cards or personal checks are accepted for the rental fee – this must be paid in cash, certified check or a personal check received 30 days prior to arrival. Upon arrival, we will be glad to set up a charge account with a credit card on file for the length of your stay, so you don’t need to carry money for any marina purchase.  Accounts must be settled prior to departure.  Any accounts left open will be settled from the security deposit.

One covered boat slip is provided with each land rental at no charge.  Please note at the time of your reservation if you will utilize the slip.  No slips are provided for floating house rentals or for houses with private docks, as your boat will be docked at your house.  Additional slips may be available for daily rental per day for 30’ and $12 for 18’ slips, but must be booked in advance.

Flat Hollow Marina offers a full fleet of pontoon, triton, ski boat and jet ski rentals.  In addition, we have a variety of other accessories and water toys available to rent as well.  These rentals are best reserved prior to arrival to insure availability.

Pets are permitted in land rentals, with a max of two pets per rental. A $50 per pet fee will be charged to cover additional cleaning. Pets must be pre-approved before your arrival. Failure to do so could cause you to forfeit your deposit.  Pets are not permitted under any circumstances on Floating Houses or rental boats.  Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pet. Flat Hollow Marina reserves the right to retain any part of the rental deposit deemed necessary to cover the cost of any repair for damage or excessive cleaning needed due to pets. 

All of our rentals are non-smoking for our guests’ comfort.  Smoking is permitted in designated areas only.  We ask that should you choose to smoke (or vape), please be courteous of others and dispose properly of all cigarette butts.  Smoking in non-designated areas will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
